We kindly invite all families and prospective campers to submit an application form to be reviewed by our camp director. After review, the camp director will contact each family/caregiver on the status of their application. For campers who are deemed eligible for camp, they will be invited to set up an intake interview to gather additional information and determine suitability of the Sunshine Day Camp programming for the child.
Please remember that our program is unique and does not cover all disability or behavioural support needs. Once the application form has been received and an intake call has been completed, our camp director and LDAO-C staff will determine suitability for the program. Should Sunshine Day Camp not be the best fit, the camp provider can provide referrals to other Summer programming outside of our organization where possible.
Applications can be submitted using our protected, online form or by downloading the application form file and emailing a completed copy to sunshinedaycamp@ldaottawa.com. The application is extensive and covers medical, contact, and behavioural information for each camper. No payment will be received until registration has been confirmed.
