About Us

The Learning Disabilities Association of Ottawa-Carleton (LDAO-C) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting increased awareness and respect for persons with learning disabilities. As an association, we engage the individuals, families, community and professional groups to assist in their understanding of addressing the barriers and to build their skills and resources to overcome the challenges of Learning Disabilities and ADHD.

By the Numbers ( Annually) 

1500 plus responses for information, counselling, resources, services and supports.

Over 700 parents, teachers and health practioners provided with education and training.

Over 600 students provided with tutoring catered to their learning needs.

90 children provided with social skills development experiences through our Sunshine Day Camps.

The Learning Disabilities Association of Ottawa is committed to providing education, resources and leadership to support children, families and professionals with addressing learning disability issues and helping diverse learners achieve their full potential.
